In accordance with South Carolina State Statute 12-45-75 and Beaufort County Ordinance 66-56, the Beaufort County Treasurer’s Office offers taxpayers the option of paying the upcoming year’s taxes in advance through the installment payment program in six payments. These payments are estimated based on the previous year’s tax amount due. Only mobile homes, residential and commercial real property are eligible for the installment program.

For the five payments due throughout the year you will receive an installment bill with due dates as follows:

February 15th
April 15th
June 15th
August 15th
October 15th

The sixth and final amount due is billed in November on the annual tax bill and will display your total taxes, total installment payments and the remaining balance due. If you have overpaid, a refund will be mailed to you in December.

Additional information about your installment bill and annual bill is available in Resources.
