End of Redemption Period Extended

- Wednesday, October 12, 2016

Due to the closure of Beaufort County’s government offices on October 5, 2016 and October 6, 2016, the Beaufort County Treasurer has extended the redemption period for properties sold at the 2015 Delinquent Tax Sale until Friday, October 14, 2016.

“Property owners wishing to redeem their property were not able to. Every day of the redemption period matters so we are extending the redemption deadline because I want our delinquent taxpayers to have every opportunity possible to keep their property.”, said Maria Walls, Beaufort County Treasurer.

Delinquent property owners will have until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 to redeem their property by paying all taxes, fees and penalties owed. Taxes may be paid at one of our three office locations or by mail. Current redemption amounts can be found online on our website or by contacting our office at 843-255-2600.
